Any thoughts on which of these tans you recommend?

Re: McKenzie Tan vs. Krowtann

I need a paint on tan that will allow a fox to come out real soft, but also rehydrates well for mounting- and the tan has a long shelf life. I was using syn oil tan, but now that McKenzie took over Van Dykes, they don't have it anymore. Bear Essentuals "oldshaver" has a backhide tan that is supposed to come out very nice when done, but he told me it is not a good rehydrate for mounting.
