Skull ID

I thought this would probably be the best place to ask what kind of skull this is. I found it on an Island in the Susquehanna river. I've looked up numerous birds of prey and turtles among others and I have yet to find a match.

Thanks

Re: Skull ID

Are you sure its a skull?

A haiku is just like a normal American poem, except it doesnt rhyme and is totally stupid.

Re: Skull ID

Timber pro, after your ID, I looked it up on line and I think you nailed it. Turns out, it is not a skull but is indeed a avian pelvic bone of some sort.

Thanks

Thanks
Mark

Re: Skull ID

Definitely an avian pelvis. I can't tell you how many times guys have shown me those, mostly from turkeys, and think they've found some sort of crazy skull in the woods. It's an easy mistake to make!

I think I'm an alright guy, I think I'm alright

Re: Skull ID

That's what I was thinking Timber Pro, probably a goose or duck given where it was found
