skull cleaning...western PA

Looking to have a buck skull cleaned with beetles/properly degreased/whitened

Not looking for a do-it-yourselfer....I want it professionally done RIGHT...

I could have sworn I had a few bookmarked within a reasonable drive...I can't find them..

I am near Cranberry Twp, butler county but travel a good chunk of i-79 daily...I'd make a reasonable drive to have it done right...shipping probably isn't readable I don't imagine..between cost and risk of damage...

Thanx

Mauser, I have never had anything done by them, but this place was recently discussed on here.

I remember seeing a place near Mcconnells Mill State Park, They advertised beetles and camo dipping. There was a sign right on 422. I will do some checking....It would not be that far from 79

Re: skull cleaning...western PA

thanx guys!

was in a jam and had to get back to work so i took the deer to my butcher...turns out he does them...i looked at the ones sitting there and they looked done right...so he has it now...

originally told him to cape it..but decided if im gunna have him mounted id want it on a nice looking cape from another buck i shoot later...with the skull being done we can always mount the antlers later..cant win..both flintlock bucks had messed up capes! the first one busted his nose so bad the skull mount didnt even turn out complete...

Re: skull cleaning...western PA

If you need another one beetled off, I strongly recommend Custom Skull Cleaning in New Alec. They have done several for me, and I now degrease and bleach my own, after they beetle 'em off, based on advice and guidance given by Sam, the owner. He also does good work at the youth outdoor day at Keystone State Park every Spring, giving skulls away to nearly every youth, so we take him all our unwanted skulls and hides to help support that as well.

Treat every day as if it were a gift, because it is.....that's why it's called the present.
