how soon

Was wondering how soon I need to get head and cape to taxidermist.
Never shot anything big enough to even think about mounting till this year.
How soon do I need to get this to a taxidermist and how should I keep it till I do get it there.

Re: how soon

I prefer to get it there the next day. I have put them in the frig for a day or 2. Most taxidermists are open on Sunday during this time of the year. I would call today and try to get it dropped off. In my opinion the sooner the better.

Traditions only last if you pass them down to your kids!

Most would agree the sooner the better. If you can't get to the taxidermist today. Try and get the cape and hide chilled. Refrigerator or freezer.
