How long does it usually take?

Quick question to all you taxidermist or guys who have gotten rugs made before. About how long typically should the client wait until their rug (in this case a coyote) should take from drop off date until it's completely finished and can be picked up? I've had mine at a taxidermist for 10 months now. I was origionally told 4-6 months, then a month or two ago i called and he said expect more like 6-8 months. He said the hold up is that he sends his rugs out to the "rug maker" after he sets the skulls and the rug maker guy is behind in his work. about a month ago i called and my taxidermist said he just talked to the rug guy and it would be 2 weeks yet. but that was almost a month ago. Starting to get a little frustrated. Your thoughts?

I second this. Go there in person don't get angry but be stern in your voice and get an honest answer on what's going on here.

I second that Joe. The only time my turn around time was close was this year I had to have hernia surgery, but I called my customers so they would know.
