Treestand umbrella: Pro's or Con's

I am thinking of adding an umbrella this year to my ground tree seat set up. I don't think I would use it in my treestand, but may. Which brand do you guys use and what do or don't you like about them? Are they flimsy and noisy? Hard to set up? Thanks.

I screwed mine into maybe a ten inch long 2by4, then strap in to the tree, that way if on gamelands your not screwing it into a tree, and it's faster for me that way.

They are a little extra work, but they are well worth it. I know without it, this past seasons opening day would not have been any fun.

Its a great tool to add to you arsenal!

I've used them before when they were like 10 bucks at a local hunting store.
Liked it so much , bought a bunch of them for gifts.

Yeah, good tool. I use the ones from dicks sporting goods. Pretty simple to set up. Pretty simple to take down unless the nut that holds the screw head into the round plastic piece is loose. I have a few of those screw pieces in a few trees.

It's a good spot. Just not today.

Don't buy the one that screws into the tree there is one that straps on to the tree it's much better.

I like to hunt when its raining. I think its really nice in the woods while its raining. I had one that screwed into the tree and it broke. I have been looking around my area stores for a different type but no luck yet. I fixed" it so it will work but I need a new one.
