Sport Climbers spikes

Has anyone here tried these climbing spikes? I have 2 pairs of buckingham spikes used for climbing, but they are too heavy to uses when hunting, and these look like a decent alternative........they look decent, but I cant find much info on them anywhere.....

Re: Sport Climbers spikes

I wouldn't hunt with them on I had Buckinghams as well and sold them to an HPA member several years ago. Climbing spikes have to extend beyond the foot and could be very awkward standing on a limb or platform. Just my opinion good luck and BE CAREFUL

Well, the plan is to possibly use them while using a tree saddle..............they wuld be spiked the whole time or at least one at all times.......

Re: Sport Climbers spikes

Look at the Logger supply web-sites. The spikes or Hooks that tree guys wear don't extend below your foot and have a much better support system for your lower leg. If interested PM me and I will ask a friend who has extra sets he may want to sell. Good Luck.

Re: Sport Climbers spikes

I think the tree spikes run longer than pole spikes
