How do you stay dry while on stand?

They are forecasting moderate rain and 43 degree high for opening day.
What would you wear and do to stay on stand all day?

Re: How do you stay dry while on stand?

I got myself a nice tree umbrella. It attaches to the tree with straps and fits nicely around most trees. Open it offers over a 60” radius of covered area, and is vented to make it withstand the wind. It can also double as a ground blind for hunting too since it is real tree camo pattern. .
Weight is less than a lb. and takes 30 seconds to set up or take down.
I have sat out in some real gully washers and even my boots kept dry. I brought mine from a place online and it was about $40.00 with shipping
Buy one and you won’t be sorry. Good Luck

I will stay in the stand until dark or I harvest a buck, whichever comes first. Invested in some gortex insulated bibs and parka a few years back...def worth the money. Hunting in the rain is still no fun, but can stick it out now w/ the right equipment.

Goin in early and stayin late.

$20 at dunhams or dicks should get you a hang-on umbrella.
