I heard on one model you can be talking to someone and see their location of where they are at on your map on your screen...I think it is a Garmin model..

Yes garmin ,,the rino series ,,i have 2 of the 120 models
they work very well ,they will show you where the other one is ,,you can also get a ( ear bud ) for them,, small headphone in one ear and a small microphone on the wire ( no noise outside )they are fairly easy to use also ,and u can turn either the radio or gps off ,,if you just want to use one part

i have the same as dave. work well and definately better than carrying a radio and gps. if i bought another one, i would get one with a color screen. thats just me though.

Ok my Motorola's are acting up again. this is my second set (return the 1st) the problem is when it get cold the PTT button dosen't work.. when I transmit it's all static but I can receive well.. Motorola isn't much help. So ruling out the Rino because of costs. anybody have positive info on Midlands? Also anybody else having issues with Motorolas in cold weather? mine are the 855R's

Garmin Rino 120, been using 2 of them and highly recomend!!
