I just put one on my 9 yr olds rossi 243 single shot...any good bad thoughts? wanted something that he wouldn't get "scope eye"so I figured it might not be a bad start,

I can't see it being a bad thing probably going to make aiming easier,he'll be able to shoot with both eyes open,"unlimited"field of view,just the one dot to focus on instead of making sure the crosshairs are aligned correctly or trying to line up open sights.
