Sightron Rimfire Scope?

I just ordered a Sightron 3x9 Rimfire scope off Midway (the price seemed right)for my bread and butter 22 RF squirrel rifle. My eyes aren't get'n any better and I thought a boost in power may help. I've never gotten personal with a Sightron and was wondering what those of you who have one think of them...the good, the bad, and the ugly would be appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Sightron Rimfire Scope?

I assume you got the Sightron 3-9x SII with adjustable objective. You will not be disappointed in the least. It is top quality, and somewhat pricey ($500+) for my 22 ruger 10-22 (my gopher/squirrel rifle). I buy the Bushnell Elite 3200s and they are very good, I need the 4-16x as my ranges are sometimes over 100 yards and my old eyes like to crank it up to 16x on the smallish gophers at longer ranges. I also use it on squirrels at 4x, which are easir, bigger and closer.

after you get it let us know how you rate the Sightron.

Re: Sightron Rimfire Scope?

i have a sightron sII big sky in 36x, and its hands down the most reliable, repeatable scope i've ever owned. i haven't tried any of their cheaper model yets, but will probably be picking up a 3-9 SI before this coming season.

Re: Sightron Rimfire Scope?

It's a low end 3x9 Rimfire Sightron SI w/ parallax adj @ 50 yds. No adj. Objective. Figured for Midway's sale price I'd give it a go.
