Looked at the F&S stand. I got a Big Game 17' Warrior Elite Ultra Wide Ladder from Dunham's. I like it. One thing it has that the F&S model does not is a webbed backrest which makes it comfortable.

I see the F&S stand has a large platform and it lets you flip up the seat and shooting rail so you can stand up. Worthwhile if that is the way you intend to hunt. I have a crossbow and always sit.

The shooting rail on the Warrior stand might work with a rifle but it is too high for me to use with a crossbow. I took it off.

The Warrior stand came with a harness. I would never go up a tree stand without a lifeline and harness.

Dunhams always has a 20% off coupon in the Hunting Digest. Not sure when it expires. The hunting stuff goes on sale before the season too.

Good luck.

I have a couple of the Field & Stream Outlook 17' and I like them better than any other ladder stands I have used, not sure about the model you are asking about though.

The name on the stand is reason enough for me not to buy. Might as well just joint an anti Second Amendment group. They are owned by Dicks (apostrophe omission intentional).
