Flashlight recommendations

Hello,
Long time listener, first time caller. I am in search of a high lumen output flashlight for use in the field and to carry in my truck. Anyone have any recommendations?

Re: Flashlight recommendations

Streamlight stinger LEDs are good lights. Thats my duty light.

My personal light is a surefire E2D defender LED. Small and bright.

The downside to the defender is that the batteries are expensive, and that the strike bezels make it uncomfortable to carry in a pocket.

If I were buying a light for hunting I would go with a surefire LED without the strike bezels.

Re: Flashlight recommendations

I'll second the Surefire recommendation.

I've had an original 6P for 14 years or so and, other than batteries and lamps, it's been great.
