Rain Gear

Looking for a Fluorescent orange poncho. Having trouble finding any but I am really looking for a very heavy one. ANY suggestions?

Re: Rain Gear

one of those orange trash bags with a pumpkin design you fill up with leaves for Halloween.

Sorry I couldnt resist. But I dont know if I ever really saw orange rain jackets specifically for hunting. I have a yellow-green one for work. I have seen contractors wear orange ones but they wouldnt be insulated if thats what your lookin for.

2F for a while...

Re: Rain Gear

Just curious, why a poncho? I wore one many years ago on a rainy, windy day. I looked and felt like a sail in the wind. It cost me an 8 pointer. I wear a roll-up rain jacket now that fits in my pocket.

Re: Rain Gear

I'm curious too see what is working for folks.

Me, I rely on my waterproof jacket on days I know it will, or is raining.

An 88 cent disposable clear poncho to toss over the wool on unexpected downpour days.

Another day in paradise. God hunts on Sundays.
