Talk me out of this rest

I saw this in the Cabela's shooting catalog that showed up and it seems like it would be great for groundhog hunting. Seems more stable than the shooting sticks or bipods I use now. Just don't want to spend 100 for it. Anyone use one?

LOL, I just saw that in the new shooting catalog too, but what a burden to carry.

IF YOU SEND ME A PM, I WON'T GET IT USUALLY UNLESS I SEND ONE FIRST. REPLY & TELL ME TO PM YOU

I used to carry a cardborad box with two "V's" cut in each end to support the rifle.Stuffed a rag into the one "V" to adjust height...Worked fine.

4C I nominate you to get one and do a full review. If you don't like it I will buy it from you for half price!

Re: Talk me out of this rest

was at Cabela's this past sat. saw the rest. it looks like a good rest, but is it worth $100.00. maybe in my younger days when I did more shooting it would be a possibility. but for now it was nice to look at, and if you get one, enjoy it.

if i get a $20 off $100 coupon in the next week or two, I'll do that. You aren't getting it for half though, maybe $90

Re: Talk me out of this rest

For $100 I would wonder how sturdy it is.Other gun rests of this style are a lot more.A half decent tripod alone is more
