Garmin Dakota 20

I got a Garmin Dakota 20 for Christmas and have been having some trouble getting it set up. Anybody have any experience with these?

Re: Garmin Dakota 20

What's the problem??

I typically hate gps's...typically difficult to use and get the hang of and I never had enough time behind one to understand them...now that I use one while boating, I'm understanding them a little more lol...

2 years ago I carried a buddies touch screen garmin...think his was the highest model...I kinda fell in love...it was awesome...easy to use and I could coordinate our bear drives...I liked it a lot...full screen and easy to use..detail was nice...I was worried about the touch screen...but, 25mi in 3 days driving bear, it don't get much tougher than that and it never gave me trouble...

Was going to get one...but, I need a dog tracking unit so I'm likely going to get a gps tracking unit and kill 2 birds with 1 stone..can track my dog..but can use it hunting...heck, I can leave the collar in the truck when deer and bear hunting and I will always be able to get to the truck! Lol. Even if the buddies park it somewhere I wasn't planning on which happens a bunch...
