Felling Axe

I was looking at the Stihl PA-100 felling axe. Anyone have any opinions on this axe or some other top quality axes with lifetime warranties like this one? Thanks everyone!!!

Re: Felling Axe

Looks like a nice axe but a chainsaw is much easier.

Re: Felling Axe

I have a Fiskars axe - think it's the same/rebranded gerber. The steel is very hard. I have the fiskars sharpener too, and it works well but I have already chipped the blade a couple times splitting cherry wood. It has cut down a few 12-14 inch trees though and though not as fast as a chain saw, it did the job, and it was kinda fulfilling.
