Was wondering if anybody has or has used the little Bushnell Backtracker GPS unit. These have caught my eye and I noticed the other day that has a camo one on sale for $50 and it just so happens that I have a $50 Amazon gift card to burn.

As of right now, I do not own a GPS and don't know how much I would really use one, but I do see the utility of a GPS especially hunting unfamiliar grounds.

I guess, I am looking for opinions on this model and possiblily other beginners GPS units.

I don't know that model....but DO get yourself a GPS. You'll never run out of reasons to use it. Familiar or unfamiliar can mark your stands, deer signs, etc. Very valuable. I use a Garmin Legend CX that I've had for a few years now. It's invaluable.
