Made in USA

I've been looking through Cabela's and Redhead catalogs lately and they list everything as imported. This is a crying shame.
I would like guys to list hunting gear that is made in the united states. No just manufactures because a lot of companies make stuff here as well as import. Tell us what they are and your personal experience with the product. I'm bent on buying only US made hunting products from now on.

the thrill is not in the kill, but in the experience

Re: Made in USA

I'm older and got over that feeling decades ago. I'd brag about my foreign made vehicle. "That's not foreign. That's made in the USA."
Won a few beers on that foreign auto. It took opening the door and showing the Plymouth was made in Canada.

America needs industry, but it never will return to the 50's in my lifetime.

Re: Made in USA

Filson clothing USED to be 100% made in America. I'm lucky enough to have one of their Field Coats with the liner, my fly fishing vest, and a few other things from them before they got out by...Ralph Lauren? I can't remember who bought them out, but I know their entire line isn't made in the USA like it once was.

I recently got some of Cabelas wool boot socks and Outfitters Sock Liners and was surprised to see the Made in USA tag especially in clothing industry line!!
