Hanwag boots

Anyone ever try or have any? I'm looking at tarta top gtx boot, quality and durability is of most interest thanks.

Anybody can shoot deer on the farm ground....You earn it in the mountains.......

Never heard of them, but they are a good looking boot. I looked them up and they have been in the boot business a long time and are very respected in the mountaineering circle. Them krauts do know how to make a good boot.

Hanwag makes a good quality boot,and sometimes they can be found a discounted prices on the internet.Lowa,Zamberlien,and miendle are others to take a look at

I haven't owned them, but I've read nothing by rave reviews of them when I see them mentioned online. I know that's not a ton of help, but I personally would buy them if I tried them and they felt good/fit well.

I use Meindl boots (Cabela's branded, but Meindl made) and Asolo boots. Both are excellent. I hear Hanwag mentioned often and with praise, along with Kennetrek.
