Recharging a Nuvi GPS on the fly ?

I want to use a Nuvi crossover GPS while in the outdoors ( big screen & waterproof ) . It eats power pretty quick ( 3-4 hours ) Can I use one of those Power Stick devices people use for phones & tablets ? If so , do they come with different plugs . I've never used one before . Thanks for suggestions .

I have one I bought from E-Bay. It came with different plugs. My buddy runs a GoPro on one and it lasts all day.

Ha, I use these questions to see how far back I am in using technology. Back in my day I used paper maps to navigate the country. Still have my old military style compass for direction in the woods. In all those years it never lost any power !!!
Checked Garmin and where I could get a replacement military style compass.
Only carried batteries for a flashlight. Only reason for a inexpensive gps is I still hike over hill and dale.
