LaCrosse "Teal" Neoprene Waders

Bought my son a pair of LaCrosse "Teal" Neoprene Waders for his birthday. Second time out duck hunting and they started leaking, BOTH legs started leaking right where the neoprene and rubber boot top meet.

I took them back to Bass Pro and they were real good about refunding my $$.

Anyone else have similiar problems with LaCrosse Waders?
I was VERY disappointed in their quality.

Re: LaCrosse "Teal" Neoprene Waders

Sadly, LaCrosse waders seem to be a POS product line. I had a set of Brush-Tuff IIs fail catastrophically (multiple seam failure) on the 5th or 6th time out last season. I sent them back, for which they paid to ship. Several weeks later, I receive the replacement pair, and it was a different model; a less-expensive model w/o all the features I paid for. I called CS and told the gal what happened so she sent me another pre-paid UPS label and I sent them back again to get the correct pair. Eventually I got tired of waiting and called CS again. They told me my style was discontinued and my two choices were:
1) accept the cheaper style wader
2) pay the difference to upgrade to the "better" style

they would not refund my money and I decided not to give them any more of mine, so now I have crappy waders that I've used 3 times out and expect every time to end up with a cold wet crotch. It is a sad waiting game that I know I will lose eventually.

My borther-in-law has applied 3 or 4 tubes of aqua seal to his lacrosse waders over a 2 year period.

I wish someone else made a "King" size, so I can line up my replacement pair after these crap the bed.

Cabelas makes a "Big Man" series in their "Ultimate" wader line and Mack's makes a "Big Boy" series, too. I've heard good things about Cabelas Ultimate waders.

I bought a pair of Cabela's Spring run series Neo's. They work great!

I'll check those out, but IIRC, the inseam length will not be adequate in those lines (i'm 6' 3"). I think they will be a bit too girthy as well.

I have LaCross's They have been good to me . Also alot more comfortable with the fleese lining.I think you get what you pay for.I have the brushgaurd on the knees I duck hunt alot of beaver ponds & they still are holding up. Lacrosse is the only way to go in my book. But I guess you will find bad ones in any product. Just my two cents
