Garmin 60 CSX, it has been reported they can access signals from inside the house!

3D - There are STILL a few deer left! You need to pry them out of the developments!

Re: looking for a GOOD gps

I have a Garmin Vista HXc and a Oregon 450T Love them both. The 450T is a bit on the high price list, both units work great. Both will receive a signal from in my house.

Today's smartphones use both gps and cell phone signals so I would say no.
Why waste your money on another clunky gadget? In addition the smartphone can do a heck of a lot more than any gps on the market. This justifies the puchase from the get go(for a smartphone).THe ony reason gps units are still available and for sale is that people don't understand what they have already. It is kinda sad but will be understood eventually.Somewhat like the average flatscreen buyer that could buy a monitor but opts for a tv tuner in their tv then gets direct tv or any service that makes their tuner worthless.Americans don't have a clue about what they buy and how it is used.
