GPS Radios

Interested in upgrading my radio. Anybody have any luck with the Garmin 120/130? seem like nice units, any other options for a similar unit?

CAUTION: I SHOOT A 700 REMINGTON

Re: GPS Radios

I have the Garmin 110 (I think, the lowest priced one, YELLOW). I am very happy with it. Use the GPS a lot more now that I have it out of my pack all the time. Most of my buddies have them too, so It's nice knowing who's where. Used them in Noewfoundland last year. We could see our buddies WAAAAY over on another ridge, GPS said 4.3 miles. Kind of cool. Good radio reception and clarity too.

Don't let our differences defeat us.

Re: GPS Radios

i have 2 120's and they work great ,,really nice being able to see where your buddy is .. one suggestion is to get ear buds for them ,they come with ( PTT ) push to talk microphones that way all the sound is in ONE ear the mic is very small and right on the wire to the ear piece ,you can leave the unit in a shirt pocket and still talk on it
