Re-sole Boots ?'s

I have a pear of 11 year old rockies and I walked the bottoms off. Can anyone recommend a place to have them resoled in the area between Pittsburgh and Washington? Has anyone done this before? About what does it cost and is it worth it? The boots were on sale 11 years ago for about $125. They are warm and comfy. The new rocky boots stink

Thanks,

Rick

Re: Re-sole Boots ?'s

I am in SEPA near Phila,2 yrs ago I had same problem with 14 year old Rockies. Only wear them for hunting and I think they dryrotted more than wore out. After seeing everything made in China now I had mine resoled for $40. Good as new. Just check shoe repair in local yellow pages.
Good luck.

Old Rocky's, probably would do it, new one's ..... not.

I know one of the guys here at work had his older Rocky's re-soled. I think he said it was around $65 to have it done.

Again, check your local show repair guy.

I had mine resoled in Indiana for around $50. Still waterproof after 15 years. I only wear mine while hunting but actually wore out the soles completely.

Re: Re-sole Boots ?'s

Thanks, I will check the local guys. I only wear them when hunting as well and they are still waterproof.

Happy thanksgiving.

any shoe repair place can do it for you. They will just put Vibrom soles on them.
