I use a Cabela's VLR with ARC technology. I like it so far. But I only use it for short range i.e. (archery hunting.)

Re: What Range Finder do u use??

Bushnell compact 800 yard. Have had it for at least 8 years, still works fine and battery life is outstanding.

Know it's accurate, because I have checked it against several "bench mark" locations in the areas I hunt, that were previously ranged with either a Barr & Stroud optical, or another bud's 1000 yard laser range finder.

For example, there's a big, gray tree stump across the hollow from camp, that ranges 410 yards and another one that ranges 440 yards. So I check the Bushnell on them before heading out with it. For shorter range checks, the target board in the woods up in back of camp, is 110 yards.

IIRC, it cost around $250 on sale, when I bought it and it's small enough to fit in a hunting jacket flap pocket.

Some folks' learnin' curves just look like circles...3A Camp/also hunt 4B

I have the bushnell legend 1200 arc, works great for me so far, and the 6 power magnification is like having a monocular with you in the tree.
