GPS

Anyone have a gps they really like? Brand/model number? I had one that wasn't meant for the outdoors. I could mark a spot and then give it a name...example trails or deer beds. I would want a gps that I can name the spots. Every year at this time I look to get a gps to do some winter scouting to mark trails and deer bed area's and every year a fail to buy. The wife is looking for Christmas idea's so looking to see what everyone else likes. Thanks

I was looking at the same one. Wish I knew someone with one to try it out.

Re: GPS

It is very easy to use and has room for notes and lots of text in the waypoint manager. My buddy has the etrex 20 and I think all you get for the extra money is color screens. I have been using the etrex line more than ten years and Garmin products are the best imo. I have handed down three old ones and they are all still working flawlessly. The new ones are really no more accurate, just much faster. Buy one you won't be sorry.
Amazon has one right now at 85 bucks and free shipping.

Re: GPS

Great info thank you. I was looking at the Etrex 20 as well as I kind of like the color screen. I will probably end up with one or the other. Thanks again.
