Mono Walking/Shooting Stick??

Hi guys. What do you recommend for a good Walking/Shooting stick for of course walking and shooting on the move? Also, would like to use it in a pop up blind for shooting while sitting in a chair. So, I figure it would need to have a decent range on telescopic range. I will be in a blind about 50% of the time. Thanks.

Cut a cherry branch off with a "Y" strip the bark off and make your own.

I'm so far behind I think I'm in first place.

How about a Primos Trigger Stick? That's what I use. Mine wasn't long enough for a standing shot so I mounted a tapered wooden handle on it. Works like a charm now.

I've got a Stony Point Pole Cat that I've had for about 10 years. I really like that thing. It's easily expandable from about 26" - 5' with a couple of twists of the wrist and the Y on top screws off and can mount a camera or spotting scope.

Re: Mono Walking/Shooting Stick??

I got a Gorilla stick a couple years ago. It's extendable to cover whether I'm sitting or walking, and is a little "beefier" than most other available models. I don't go squirrel or deer hunting without it.

If you're having trouble hunting for deer,
don't wish things were easier;
wish you were smarter.

Re: Mono Walking/Shooting Stick??

I appreciate the help guys. I like the ease of the trigger stick thing. Looks like it adjusts very easily. Are the the only ones with the trigger adjustments on them? Thanks.

I like the Primos Trigger Stick. They have a few different sizes that extend a good amount.

I will never understand why people can be so blinded by a liar.
