Food For Thought....

There were 2.4 millions guns sold in march, the most ever recorded in a one month span...

And guess what.....There was not a single mass shooting...i guess its not the guns after all....

The media would not mention it if there was. Don't want us to take our eyes off the shiny ball!

Every morning on the news you can bet the farm there will be reports of shootings. Unfortunately, only two reports I've watched out of Phillie admitted that the bad guy was shot. I am pretty sure there were many more, but the media only screwed up and let the cat out of the bag those two times....

Is that something new for that area?

Scary part is some of that buying was because of the coronavirus and those people probably know nothing about firearms. What will they do with them once this crazy virus is gone? Where will they store them to keep them secure? Just food for thought here!

Nothing scary about that. There are many reasons one might wish to exercise their God given rights. Preparing for government and society going berserk is probably one of the better ones. They may sell them, or grow a fondness for them like us. Where will they store them? Not my business.

Living relatively close (that's where I go if I'm "goin' into town") I can tell you it absolutely is not. When I was a kid, Williamsport was a nice, low crime little city. That all changed when the Democrat Mayor establish a link with the drug recovery community of Philadelphia in the 80s in order to bring the rehab business to Da' Port.

The city hasn't been the same since...crime went through the roof. Plenty of convenience store robberies every week. The drug trade flourishes....Williamsport is a regional drug hub. The Phily connection for distribution to points North and West. Actual blood and Crip sets bangin' in town. I believe there where 8 gang related murders in the past year or so. All but one have involved gang on gang killings. One was an unfortunate woman in her 20s who was patronizing a store and shot during a robbery. The cashier was shot as well, but survived.
