Diferent, odd, rare, obscure calibers..........

Another discussion here got me to wondering........... and counting.

How many calibers do you shoot that you CAN NOT buy ammo for at Walmart ??

(.22LR and .308 Win don't count)

I'm coming up with 11 myself.

Re: Diferent, odd, rare, obscure calibers..........

Off the top of my head 257 roberts, 7mm mauser, 7.65mm mauser, 8mm mauser, 264 win mag, 300 h&h mag, 220 swift, 30 carbine.
Came real close to adding 300 savage the other day, but it just wasn't in the condition I'm looking for.

The Second Ammendment...
Its kind of a big deal.

I have a custom Arisaka in 6.5mm that I still havent shot yet even though I have two boxes of ammo for it. I always
thought a 9x57mm rifle would be cool to own.

Re: Diferent, odd, rare, obscure calibers..........

Believe it or not my local Walmart has 50 BMG ammo on the shelf!!!!! I about died...not a 22 in stock but like 8 boxes of 50BMG....

I've never seen 280 or 35 whelen at Walmart..some bigger stores or reap gun shops...but its slim picking for the most part...and I can roll em a lot cheaper than they can be bought...

I still can't believe 50BMG at Walmart...its been there a few weeks now..looks like someone bought a box..I thought about it "just to have" lol..

Our one local Walmart has several boxes of .264 Mag on the shelf right now. They also carry .30 Carbine.

They have .50 BMG too.

Go figger.
