Wal-Mart or Dunhams for my area in the North Hills. Both are usually fully stocked. .22 is the only exception, but Wal-Mart will have bricks of it now & then if the planets align correctly.

Take a Saturday ride to Ace in Washington Pa. they usually have every caliber but 2 boxes per customer. BUT they have it and they are not price gouging.

I always look around at gun shows. Sometimes deals can be had. That's where I got my last two boxes of .357 Sig which can be pretty hard to find locally.

Re: Where do you buy your handgun ammo?

Went to Field & Stream yesterday. Got some Lightfield slugs at a good price. It's a cool store with a lot of mounts all over the place. Like a mini-Cabelas. Lots of ammo. Lots of guns. Lots of clothing. Good place to spend a few hours.

You just shot an unarmed man. Well he should have armed himself!!! Clint Eastwood.

Re: Where do you buy your handgun ammo?

I reload so I donít buy ammo however I would keep an eye on Wal-Mart. pretty hard to beat their price. As to Dunham I bought a nice Mauser in there. While killing time waiting for a clerk, I thought brass for the Mauser would be hard to find so if they had any factory 8-MM ammo, I would pick up a couple boxes for the brass, not at $40.00 and up for a box of 20. I will wait and find components to reload it. Other ammo I saw seemed pretty high priced to me.
As to Field & stream Dicks own it. Others can do what they want, I will not spend my money in Dicks or Field and stream.
