IWB holster for 1911

I recently bought a ruger SR 1911 and am looking for a IWB holster. I'm looking for something that I can carry during the summer and just have my t shirt hanging out. I've been looking around and all from what I can see they look like they may be bulky, with a full size 1911. Thanks.

Its a full size 1911. Your not going to find one that isnt bulky

Re: IWB holster for 1911

I carry an officer sized 1911 in 2 different IWB holsters....

I carry it in a Comp Tac Minotaur Neutral holster......for strong side carry I adjust it with forward cant, I adjust it to neutral and carry crossdraw on occasion though......it is pretty comfortable, AS LONG as you wear a tucked in undershirt......if not, the grip safety rubs on your side, as the cut of the holster doesn't quite cover the end of the beavertail....

I also have an IWB holster MTR custom leather it is the Thoroughbred, it is comfortable to carry, and the leather backing covers the entire gun, and keeps the beaver tail off of you without wearing an under shirt.....

Little pricey but Milt Sparks & Mitch Rosen Holsters are great. I used to carry my 1911 in a Milt Sparks holster and after a while you forgot it was there.
