Well can't say that I shot one but I have shot the .416 Remington, just once... you gotta love shooting big bangers to enjoy shooting these boys and the recoil off a bench is way to much for the average shooter but they have their place. If I were going after brown bear, grizzly or polar bears I'd be carrying one but I'm not sure you need that kind of power in PA... everything about them is expensive, bullets, brass, the amount of powder they use and heavy duty scope mounts and bases. BUT if you gotta have it then treat yourself and the heck with all the nay-sayers... PS take about 5 friends to go along when you go to sight it it, and some sand bags to put between you shoulder and the stock, you'll need them all...
