Smith's Custom Guns in Warren, PA. Valley Gun Works in North East, PA. Anything further south and I can't help you.

Fayette Gunshop Fairchance PA 724-564-7720

Is your position a short term gain - or a long term loss? Separate the issues.

Dean Customs in Harlansburg by Slippery Rock. I have had some work done by him. My buddy has built way too many customs and swears by him.

Gorenflo in Erie. Guy does everything old school. Even 60 year old hardwood creaky floors.

More Central PA, but 10x Custom Rifles in Dubois is a top notch shop for custom gun smithing........

Considering that Herb hasn't touched anything as far as smithing in years I don't know that you can call anything but the shop "old school" I almost never even see him there anymore anyways and I'm in there usually every week.

Re: Gunsmith in western pa

Herb sold the shop to John Donovan. I believe he was and still is the gunsmith that worked on all the guns for years, also believe he learned a lot from Herb.

great place.
