Cerakote......opinions

Local guy advertising cerakoting services.

I've seen a few guns with cerakote, but do not have any myself.

What I'm thinking about is having him do an old champion arms 16 single shot that I had the stock redone on but the bluing is about gone. Just to see what it's like.

But first I figured I would toss it out here to see who has experience with it and if they like it or not. Let me know what kind of gun you gave with cerakote and the pros and cons.

Thanks.

Your just jealous because I've been chatting online with babes all day!!

If it's done right it is a very durable finish.

It's a great finish, best out there for durability right now. I have a few guns finished with it and absolutely love it.

I have two done with it. Really impressed with it. Looks great and seems durable. I have one in Sniper Gray and a Semi Matte Black that I can not recall the exact name of.

Don't let our differences defeat us.

We use it pretty regularly at work; I've done a few firearms learning the process. Preparation is the key to success.
