Re: Howa

They are a good solid rifle. The Howa action has been around and used on many companies rifles for a long time. They currently make the barreled action for the Weatherby Vanguard.

Re: Howa

There are literally dozens of rifles and shotguns that are quite good that were made by Howa and sold under a lot of different names including Weatherby and S&W.

Re: Howa

My nephew has one and its a tack driver, he replaced the stock with a Boyd's. I never seen a gun shoot that good and he can use any bullet and still shoots awesome.

Re: Howa

I want to look at the Howa Walnut Hunter. I just can`t find them anywhere to look at. Howa is very hard to find on the rack at gun stores and if you do it may just be the Hogue model. I want to check one out on general and preferably with the walnut stock.

Re: Howa

Wouldn't sell my Howa 1500 in 6.5x55 swede for anything about as accurate as anything I own and never a problem.

Big Bucks in Wexford had a couple Howa 1500s with wood furniture. You should check them out

My aspirations are simple.
Send the kids to college, hunt, and own more guns

I don`t care for the owner of that store, but I will check out the gun there and then find the best price. As a side I belong to Millvale SC right down the road. Thanks.
