New AR...first thing to do?

I finally got an AR-15! My question is, should I strip the gun down as far as I can and clean it thoroughly? Or should it be good to out of the box? If I should strip it, how difficult is the disassembly and reassembly?

Any gun I buy gets stripped and cleaned...whether it is factory grease or someone else's cleaning job...I want it clean...MY clean...before I fire it...

ARs are simple to take down and clean...should be good YouTube videos...

Clean it, then lube with a CLP type lube. I have used everything from MPRO7 to Royal Purple.

Strip it, clean it, lube and reassemble, add accessories, break in barrel, enjoy
