singBSA holosight

I tried out a BSA holosight it was under a 100 bucks and i'll tell you what, don't bother, after 2 shots the lens blew out of the housing, si i clear epoxied it and that held up, but it would stay sighted in, you could move the housing ever so slightly, and it would be dead on high but way off to the left, nudge it back, and 2nd shot later back at the beginning. So i ask this, looking for a decent one but cannot afford an eotech, and want something small, any ideas, yeah its a thumper 35 whelen pump. thanks

Anybody can shoot deer on the farm ground....You earn it in the mountains.......

Re: singBSA holosight

The BSA really isnt a holosight, it is just a open red dot (most of the same style are). If you really want a holosight look into a used Bushnell Holosight, just about the same as the EoTech.
Another thing to think about is you already paid for one unit and found it to be a piece of junk, you dont want to do the same again. Money on optics is well spent.
For a small unit that is inexpensive look into the Bushnell Trophy TRS-25 red dot. Very small unit.
