+P Ammo in S&W model 10-5?

Is it okay to run 125gr +P .38 spl ammo in my S&W model 10-5 2" .38?

You just shot an unarmed man. Well he should have armed himself!!! Clint Eastwood.

Should be okay in the newer ones, but I wouldn't make a point of overdoing it with +Ps.

The Model 10-5 is a later model 10, and it is on a K-size frame will be fine with with the 125 +P loads.
with the 2 inch barrel and the cylinder gap, I doubt the +P are really going to get you anything more than a sharp muzzle blast. You can only burn so much power in 2 inches, and the cylinder.

My 2 inch S&W usually carries wadcutters for maximum punch.

It will be fine. Most law enforcement agencies use +P in the newer S&W Model 10s. Some federal agencies use +P+.

Check with manufacturer.

What is really going to be gained with +P ammo. Unless your are more than a backyard shooter.
