Opening day gun???

Ok deer season is approaching. What rifle are you going to take on the first day????

Tradition probably plays into this choice!!!

Ok, me I'm taking the 8mmx57 double.

Re: Opening day gun???

My new 7mm-08 or my new .243 or my new 7x57 or my new .30-06 or maybe just a rifle from other years.......... Probably going to be a game time decision.

If my 11 yo doesn't have any luck before then I will be taking him and the Encore in 223. If I am flying solo no doubt I will be carrying my Win mod 70 classic compact in 7mm-08.

Tikka T3 in .270 WSM

Our forefathers didn't bury their guns. They buried those that tried to take them.
