Sako Owners

I am thinking about buying a Finnlight.

Are Sakos worth the money.

I am looking for an elk rifle for a back country hunt. The combination of light weight, reliability, quality and accuracy seem to be all there.

What do you think?

Re: Sako Owners

Wife and I hunt out west every year and really like the Browning Composite Stalker rifles. She shoots a 7mm-08 and me, a 270win. Great rifles for the back country of the hardwoods.

Re: Sako Owners

I own 2 Sako's one willed from my Dad and one from my grandfather. They are 222 and 243. I have killed deer with both guns.
They are great firearms. The ones I own were made in Finland and I am hearing the newer ones are not being made there!

I don't think there's a better factory barrel than Sako's..

A Sako is never a mistake, IMO....
