Ithaca model 51 20 ga need parts

I have a model 51 20 ga the bolt carrier broke. Common problem but I cannot find parts.. I have the local gun shop looking and they have one ordered (for over a year). cannot find the part any ideas????

The old part can be fixed by a qualified person if you have all the pieces.

the parts have been outa production and out of stock for many years.
first things first
the reason the carrier broke is because of a weak action spring and most likely a bad reciever buffer.
if you do not replace themanything you do for the carrier would be a waist of time
and while your at it replace the bolt buffer too.

now as for your carrier

les is a ex headgunsmith for ithaca ,he is familiar with ALL old ithacs
he trades out repaired carriers for broken cores.
if he dosent have one already to go he can fix yours.
he also has all the springs and buffers you need to keep it shooting
