30-30 lever evolution, after the fact

160 grain 30-30 lever evolution. Hit the small buck in the aft section of the rib cage, went through the gut and then the rump. Bullet ended up just under the skin on the off side rump. Popped it out with a simple cut and squeeze:



108 grains remaining weight.

BTW - my 16 year old son took the shot. I told him that next year he is gutting his own so he would do well to remember how messy gut shots are!

Looks like it did it's job really well. I was thinking about trying the .35's. Now,I suppose I will.
