Refinishing A Gun?

Hey Guys,
My grandfather recently passed away and I inherited a few firearms...I would like to have 2 guns re-blued and was wondering if anyone has ever had this done? I would like to know price, time frame and also if anybody knows of any quality gunsmiths around the northwestern part of PA?

He took care of his guns, I just think he forgot to clean them or wasn't as careful in his later years.

Thanks.

Re: Refinishing A Gun?

Before you have any rebluing done check to see what will happen to the value of the guns by doing so. Sometimes a gun's value is reduced to a large extent by rebluing even if it is expertly done.

Unless the value is in his heart, and not his wallet.

We all make choices, some good, some bad, can you live up to yours?

If the value is in his heart then he should keep it the way his granfathers hands left it.
