Redfield 70 Sight Adjustment

Have this sight on a Mod 1917. Want to sight this in for the new loads as a back-up rifle.

Found a sales brochure online that states the knobs are marked in 1/4 minute increments.

The adjustment zero scales are marked in 3 minute increments. So every full revolution of the knob (twelve clicks) represents 3 minutes.

So at 100 yards - one click of the knob is 1/4 inch??

Am I getting this correctly?

Is your position a short term gain - or a long term loss? Separate the issues.

Minute of Angel is one inch per hundred yards . So 2 M.O.A. would be 2 inches at 100 yards or 4 inches at 200 yards and 6 inches at 300 yards.1/4 m.o.a. would take 4 clicks for 1 inch at 100 yards!
