Grice gun shop

I was out in Ohio the past few days for a family wedding and finally got to stop in at Grices for the first time this afternoon. I have heard many of you talk about it on the here in the past. They have a nice shop, all I bought was some lead cast bullets for my 44 mag. Probably would have bought more if my wife wasn't along!

Next time you're by, with or without your wife, stop in at the Army Navy in town as well - it's worth the stop.

Find the time.....

I drove past the Army Navy and it look very interesting. Did't have that much time to do both. Next time I will check it out.

Don't miss Dennys Beer Barrel either, some of the best tavern grub anywhere.

Depends on how busy the place is. I've ne3ver had any of them be rude. But if the place is shoulder to shoulder and you're "just looking" you will most likely get the "once by" and the next guy who is buying will get the attention.

Shopped there many, many times. Downright rude......never seen it.

They are just understaffed when they have a big sale, and their system can't handle the volume. I have seen the waiting number go into the seventies on a sale day when they are trying to call all the gun sales in, but on a normal day, nothing but nice. The gal up front gets nicer once she gets to know you, I quess she deals with alot of Yahoo's.

Bingo, a lot of people go there during the big sales, have a bad experience and post it on here.......myself, I wont touch that place with a 10 foot pole during a sale......I don't care how much money I save.......I go in there at least once everycouple of weeks all year long, and generally have good things to say about the place/people that work there

Bob's Army Navy on the other hand, I won't go in there and buy something, unless I cant get it at Grice's........the people that work there are generally unfriendly, and unknowledgeable......

Re: Grice gun shop

I live 10 minutes from both places. My experiences have been just the opposite. I've had good experiences at Grices, but I've had way more bad than good. Bob'sis always friendly, and willing to help. I won't buy anything at Grices, unless I can't find it anywhere else. I definitely second not going anywhere near that place during one of their sales. It's insanity at it's finest!

I think I'm an alright guy, I think I'm alright
