scope woes

I have an old Savage 99e that the scope went bad. I have not been hunting with it for a few years and thought it would be nice to do so again. No store or brand names will be mentioned, but I went with a reputable outdoor shop with a better quality scope. When it came, it had the wrong reticle.
I called and explained what had happened and the line went silent. I said to the rep, "you have no idea what I am talking about, do you?" After a twenty minute scope lesson he seemed to get what I was talking about. I guess I am old fashion and expect too much for my money.

Re: scope woes

sounds like my experience with a large outdoor chain store in the philly area about 15 years ago. went to buy a speedloader for my revolver and when i explained it to the guy he recoiled like i hit him and said "we don't sell handgun accessories here".

My diploma is a DD Form 214
