I was looking at them as well, let us know how you like it.

It's breeding,training...and something unknown.

Not for me, not until they have an after market trigger to replace that goofy trigger safety.

The deer didn't disappear.... the 250,000 guys who used to walk around and make the deer move did.

Re: new ruger american

They are a nice gun. Ruger just needs to give us a few more options in the caliber department.

Re: new ruger american

this one is going back to ruger. got it,scoped it,boresighted it. went to the range and it has a problem with the chamber, when you shoot it,it had a stiff bolt. looked at the casing and a nice gouge on the casing.shot it 3 times, all the same.ran a loaded case in and pulled it back out,you can see a line on the bullet.i can't see anything with the bore light, but the case tells me its there.hope i can get it back before deer season.

Re: new ruger american

Line on the bullet or the casing? I had a Remington 700 do the same thing for me. It was the casing that was gouged all the time. Ended up being a feed rail that needed some TLC. It was done under warranty.
