Re: Red dot scope suggestions

Not exactly sure what your looking for but Leupold has a great scope VX-R, that has a red dot in the reticle . It might be higher priced than the Red Dot scopes, but there is no comparison in quality, and there made in the U.S.A. !

It's breeding,training...and something unknown.

I have a couple but don't use them often, just remember most of the "red dots" cover a 6 inch circle at 100 yards. I wouldn't shoot at anything over 100 yards.

Vortex strikefire, comes with red and green dot and a screw on 4x magnifier. Not a cheap scope but not expensive..

.
That's only if its a 6moa dot. Dot sights come in all different sizes. What did you want to use the sight/rifle for? That may help with suggestions.
.
I've owned several different kinds (eotech, aimpoint m4, fastfire 2, primary arms, aimpoint micro, bushnell trs25). I recently picked up the 25 and its a nice sight for the low cost. Has a 3moa dot easy to set up an adjust and so far as worked well for me. Has also gotten good reviews from many if you research it.
.
Good luck

And don't forget, keep both eyes open! One of the big advantages of non-magnifying red dots.

We all make choices, some good, some bad, can you live up to yours?

Re: Red dot scope suggestions

I'm planning on picking up one of these for on my 835. I think it has some nice features. 4 different reticules to choose from, red or green with 5 brightness settings. The reviews I've read seemed good, but intake online reviews with a grain of salt. Plus, maybe I'm old fashioned, but Im kinda partial to weaver.

The Second Ammendment...
Its kind of a big deal.

Re: Red dot scope suggestions

I have a Hawke on my Horton Crossbow and it's right on at 20, 30, and 40 yards, I can't complain a bit. I have This One on my 223 and can't complain about it either.
