Gun Value Help Followup.

So if any of you have any idea on the value of these guns I would love to hear. I've done a lot of research and have an idea too but dont wanna make a mistake.

2010 Remington 870 with Carlson Choke - excellent condition.

1894 30/40 Krag in good condition.

Mossberg Model 640KS Chuckster 22 Magnum - Excellent condition

Mossberg Model 195K-A-150 Polychoke 12 Gauge (2-3/4") - Good Condition

Western Field 22 Model 59 - Used condition. The receiver plunger is quite tight to push in and pull out but not visable sign of rust.

Savage Foremost Model 6670F - Bored full 20 Gauge

Re: Gun Value Help Followup.

I'm seeing the 30/40 Krags going for $1200. There is an 1896 at Ace Sporting Goods in Washington right now that they have tagged at $1195.

Joe is in the ball park, although I dont think that krag is worth $900, id put it in the $200-300 range. Your 640 chuckster could bring $250 to the right guy as well.

Re: Gun Value Help Followup.

I agree with Joe with the exception of one. Your chuckster is a KS which means it was made between 1960 thru 1968 with only 2395 produced. A 640KS is usually worth a little more than a 640KD.I have a near mint 640KD, and want a 640KS to go with it. Looked at many at gun auctions over the years before I found one that suited me.Have only ever seen a couple KS's, and one really nice one that I tried to buy. I jumped out of the bid on it at $290. It sold for $300. I didn't pay near that for the one I got. And I couldn't see paying more than double for the KS. At the gun auctions I frrequent, even the well used KS's do over $200

Joe is in the ballpark with the Krag...$200-$300 is rediculous.

On the other hand, if Trout agrees that the Krag is worth $200-$300, I'll put a check in the mail for it today.

Re: Gun Value Help Followup.

The Krag is in Mil Spec, not altered, its worth every bit of $900. Chopped up ( Sporterized) Krags bring 3 to 4 hundred. You can easily disaasemble one and sell the parts for $400.
Mossbergs are a love/hate brand of gun. They seldom bring top dollar, although some of them are fine guns.

Re: Gun Value Help Followup.

That Krag looks sportorized. I don`t think the sights are stock and the stock itself might have been cut down. the barrel looks long for a carbine. My stock 1896 sights don`t look anything like those.
